We are super lucky to have access to some great places locally and we try to get out to see as many of them as possible. Doesn’t matter if you want a leisurely river paddle or something a bit racier.

If we haven’t organised something you can guarantee that one of our members would be up for a trip to a faraway land for an epic adventure. Cough Liffey Decent.

Catterwade to Flatford

One of our staple trips that we run throughout the year. It’s a short 5 mile round trip from Bratham up to Flatford, with a stop over at the cafe for a coffee, cake and loo stop. One not to be missed.

Lea Valley
White Water Center

Looking for more adventure? Lea Valley is a great morning out on some crazy white stuff. It’s one of the few places in the east of England with white water. Have a chat with one of our coaches to find out more.

Brightlingsea to Rowhedge

One for the Sea dogs. This is an estuary trip from Brightlingsea up to Colchester traveling up to the Roman River. One of the great things about this trip is a visit to the pub before the tide turns.

Sudbury to the Sea, Tendring Styley

One of the best local events in Tendring is the Sudbury to the sea a 26 mile paddle from Sudbury down to Brantham. We normally miss out on the main event and split the trip over two days, with a night camping under the stars and a BBQ with friends.

The River Camb

Traveling up to Cambridge for this one for a trip around historic Cambridge. It’s well worth the drive up the M11 to visit the Cambridge universities and navigate around the Punts. Not forgetting a trip to the Green Dragon.

The Blackwater

There aren’t many rivers that you can’t paddle on between Essex and Suffolk. But the Blackwater is normally off limits. But for one day a year there is a mass migration of Paddlers that travel to this river for a once a year pilgrimage.

North Wales WWE,
White Water edition

Looking for some more adventure? Wales has it all. Massive lakes and fast-flowing rapids. Whatever your mood there are loads of options. Normally we head west for a wet weekend away, to explore all that Wales has to offer.

The Backwaters Clubbing Time

Wildlife? We can do that too. One of our favourite trips that we have is a trip to Walton backwaters to see the infamous seal population and get up close and personal with them. And to top it all off an amazing BBQ!

Have we got you all excited? Also, did I mention that we go Paddling in loads of great environments? And there is often beer and food?

Thought that would get your attention. Feel free to drop us a message and see what we are up to, and why don’t you join our membership and come and join us on the water!
